Weekly winners are announced by text message as well as email, so to enter you tick a consent box agreeing to receive emails and text messages from New Every Week about the giveaway (including winner notices), the weekly encouraging thought and your entry. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. The giveaway is always free and no purchase is necessary. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also ask us to remove your number by emailing contact@neweveryweek.com.

Eligibility & Address Verification

The weekly giveaway is open to South Carolina residents. When you enter, we check that your ZIP code is a real South Carolina ZIP that matches the state you typed, and we compare your street address against public US Census address records. Entries outside South Carolina are not accepted. Your mailing address is used only to send a prize if you win.

Third Party Services We Use

We use a small number of trusted third party services to run the giveaway and to understand how the Site is used. Each of these services processes data on our behalf under its own privacy policy:

• —Go High Level (HighLevel, Inc.) — our customer relationship management and messaging platform. When you submit the entry or contact form, the details you provide (name, email address, phone number and message) are stored in Go High Level and used to enter you in the weekly drawing and to send you the emails and text messages you opted in to.
• —Google Analytics — measures Site traffic and how visitors move through the pages. It sets cookies and collects non-personal information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. We do not send it your name, email address or phone number.
• —Google Search Console — reports how the Site appears in Google Search results. It uses aggregated search and click data and does not identify individual visitors.
• —Zippopotam.us and the US Census Bureau Geocoder — free public lookups we use to confirm that the ZIP code and street address on an entry are real, so prizes reach the right door. Only the address fields are sent; your name, email and phone are not.

You can opt out of Google Analytics measurement across all websites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by refusing cookies in your browser as described above.
